“To me, living is learning, and my favorite quote on this is Michelangelo’s “I’m still learning”. So with this in mind, I plan to learn a lot. And share it. I strongly believe our personal skills can be used more effectively in our daily lives, if only we become aware of what they are and work on that. We all have a set of skills that could truly make us shine if used properly and regularly! So I design and deliver bespoke workshops and I coach individuals and teams on how to use their personal skills for presentations, (public) speaking, feedback, meetings, business and personal environments.
In this episode Roxana discusses how we can use our soft skills muscles to manage change in our lives. Roxana has managed changed her entire life, from growing up in communism to witnessing the end of it, to working as a teacher then transitioning to a corporate law firm and lastly, migrating to her new home in Canada. We are certain Roxana will continue to navigate change in her life as she moves along on her entrepreneurial journey. Roxana believes that in business, everything is personal. Listen in to this very insightful conversation with Roxana.
MORE INFO ON ROXANA
I’ve been ‘breathing’ learning consciously for about fifteen years now. Started with being an IT trainer in an international law firm, then moved to learning & development for a regional law firm and never really stopped learning since. I’ve learned how to start a department from scratch, how to design courses from scratch and deliver them, how to form a real team, what makes real teams tick and work great together, how to empower people so they feel their contribution adds value, how to adapt to changes instead of fearing them, how to create and keep real connections with people, how to be a good coach and a reasonable mentor, how to give feedback, how to learn from mistakes and how to ask for help when I needed it.”
